“ This is essentially just a stand tucked away from Main St in this mini park area with a parking lot where they have special events like concert staging for Springfest, etc. It's technically behind Old Columbia Pike. My girlfriend & I were here for Mardi Gras on Saturday, March 1. We had lunch, wine tasting, listened to music, looked in shops, & went to the Historical museum. In between some of that, she mentioned Little Market Cafe was giving out King Cake donuts at least to kids for free. I said that sounded good even if they charge us. There was a long line outside; so this place is clearly pretty popular. We ordered 2 donuts & split a latte. The cashier was very nice and answered which lattes he recommended. The King cake donut was delicious, and the latte was top notch in deliciousness too. We sat outside on that mild, windy March 1st. They have plenty of outdoor seats & seating around a fire pit area too. Great business, but I imagine they struggle in the winter with the outdoor only. If I'm ever in Old Town Ellicott City, I'd definitely keep Little Market Cafe in mind. ”
“ Excellent food, service and Ambiance...the 5 stars will let you know they stand 100% on business ”
“ My husband and I stopped by Little Market Cafe in Old Ellicott City a few weeks ago. The food was so so (we had bagels with different fixings but they offer quite a large menu of breakfast sandwiches), but I appreciated their large coffee menu. I had a large iced americano because it was a hot hot day. The service was good (a short wait to order on a weekend day), but the four stars are really for ambiance and location! Where else can you enjoy a coffee while sitting outside overlooking the body of what that runs through charming Old Ellicott City (by the way - is this a creek? a tributary of the Tiber? a tributary of the Patapsco? I looked at a map but couldn't figure it out)? It reminded me of places I used to frequent in Austin where you can enjoy a meal or a beer overlooking Shoal Creek. It's a really peaceful place and I'd happily return. ”
“ Great food, great drinks, AMAZING service!! We have loved coming here for the past 6 years for breakfast and to enjoy the river and the beautiful mornings in Old Ellicott City. ”
“ Perfect place for coffee next to parking lot D. Start or finish your day with some good coffee drinks. Very nice service with almond and oat milk options. ”
“ I didn't eat anything but they do have a couple of gluten-free pastries. My latte was very tasty and the outdoor seating is cute & vibrantly quaint on this cloudy day. The servers were quick and efficient. Kind of wish there was somewhere to sit inside as there's only outdoor seating. ”
“ I visited Little Market Cafe after running with Plant Powered Athlete Baltimore and had a great breakfast! Little Market Cafe is bustling on the weekend and has a pretty long line consistently through the breakfast hours. The line did move pretty quickly. The food comes out much faster than the coffee drinks. I finished my bagel sandwich before my latte was done being made. I wish that timing was better but they were so slammed with business that the timing was understandable. Little Market has the cutest patio to enjoy breakfast at. I absolutely loved the spirally of flowers and available shade while eating outdoors. They also have a map of nearby bathrooms to use which was very thoughtful and useful. I loved both my vegan breakfast sandwiches. One was the Humane Leaguer and the other was 7 Hills Road. If I were to only order 1 again it would be the Humane Leaguer. I really loved the healthy dose of spinach, the creamy Chipotle Mayo, and the impossible sausage. All these flavors were savory and the spinach helped lighten how heavy that sausage patty is. The 7 Hills Road sandwich was also delicious. For me the vegan bacon was a little soft instead of crunchy. I also liked having the Chipotle Mayo on the sandwich instead of melted vegan cheese. I am sure I could have asked to sub the Mayo for cheese, but that Humane Leaguer was perfect as is so I will just go with that one next time. The latte was delicious! Nothing too special but tasted great and they do have dairy free milk available. They also have a variety of syrups and seasonal coffee drinks to try. I am very thankful Little Market Cafe was so vegan friendly and delicious. If I am visiting Ellicott City again I will certainly make this the place I dine for breakfast! ”
